Amy Lybrook

As a little girl Amy was fascinated with the twisty shapes she could make with her body. Her favorite was to bind her feet behind her head and balance on her palms; a 6 year olds interpretation of Dwi Pada Sirasana? Finding her first yoga at home in 1990, she practiced with every yoga and Pilates video she could find. Spending the next decade drawn to the physical practice of power vinyasa yoga. There was always a sense there was more than the asana practice, something was missing. She began exploring the focus and breath work involved in making those shapes, dropping in at various studios, and discovered a lifestyle. A way of thinking, living, and treating others. Her “ah ha” moment in 2010 was the realization that this lifestyle should be available to everybody and she wanted to share it. Earning her 200 hour designation from Yoga on High and becoming a Yoga Alliance certified instructor.
 

Her humorous teaching style is based on love, acceptance and practicing gratitude for the abundance of both. She hopes to inspire her students to consider these principles, develop their own unique practice and work to take all the offerings of yoga off the mat. She believes this begins by looking up and smiling at everyone you pass by in this journey of life.

Sara Goff

Sara Goff is a Vinyasa Yoga Instructor, Soul Coach, core instructor for Wild Woman Fest, writer, and a worldwide yoga, adventure, and service retreat leader. An Ohio native, she returns to Columbus after 15 years of living and teaching in New York City, California, Costa Rica, and Colorado, as well as sharing yoga in locations such as India, Maui, and Mexico along the way!
 
Constantly aiming in her teaching to merge the dance between the playful and the sacred, Sara’s passion is helping her students and clients ascend to their highest radiance and create their happiest, most abundant lives!

Chan Hemintranont

Born and raised in Bangkok, Thailand, Chan Hemintranont moved to the U.S. in 2001 to study for her MBA at Case Western Reserve University. In 2010, Chan called on her background in finance and accounting to found the PAI Yoga and Fitness studio. Her goal in opening the studio was to share her enthusiasm for active pursuits and to be part of people’s life journey.
 
She received a 200-hour yoga training certification with Tammy Lyons and Mitchell Belier at Innerbliss yoga studio and has further her study with a 300-hour yoga training certification with Tara Judelle and Scott Lyons in Bali, Indonesia in summer of 2015.
 
Her approach to Vinyasa flow is creative and rejuvenating. The intention of each class, through breathing technique, is to help students find calmness in their minds, to strengthen the body-mind-soul connection, and to experience a new sense of being, of completeness. Above all, Chan loves having fun during class--and even making people giggle! "If you can laugh in a yoga class," she says, "you are an advanced student."
 
For Chan, the most fulfilling aspect of opening the studio has been witnessing and nurturing positive changes in PAI’s members. Seeing the physical and mental growth of so many aspiring yoga lovers and athletes has further deepened her commitment to sharing her passion with others. Chan feels both grateful and honored to be able to serve in this way.

Laura Hooker

Laura first discovered yoga in 1995 at the tender age of 15, and it was love at first forward bend! Having graduated from The Ohio State University in 2007 with a degree in Psychology, she is fascinated by the connection between the mind and the body, and to helping her students find and maintain a balance between the two, both on and off the mat.
 
Laura is a 200 Hour RYT through Yoga on High’s Teacher Training Institute, with a specialization in Ashtanga Yoga, and is excited to integrate her love of Ashtanga, an invigorating breath based flow practice, into her classes. She truly believes that yoga can be tailored to meet the needs of people of all ages and fitness levels, and imbues her classes with a mix of playful energy and mindfulness. Off the mat, Laura is a former professional yacht chef who loves to eat foods from all over the world, a seasoned traveler, an avid reader, lover of movies and music of all genres, and an occasional pianist.
Get ready to sweat and be challenged by this vigorous class filled with fun, creative yoga sequences and challenging poses. This class will leave you feeling stronger, ALIVE, and cleansed. The studio will be heated to 98+ degrees. Mats tend to get wet and slippery so a small towel and yoga mat towel are recommended. Remember to hydrate well before and after this class. This class is not recommended for new students or those who have not had a regular yoga practice for less than 6 months. Room temperature is set at 98-100 degrees.
