Carrie Ingham

Carrie Ingham is a teacher focused on total wellness of body, mind and spirit. Her classes use accessible skeletal alignment and thoughtful sequencing to make flexibility and muscle tone inevitable side effects of a satisfying practice. Carrie’s athletic background in gymnastics and OSU cheerleading taught her that strong, flexible muscles prevent injury and yoga taught her the inseparable connection between an open body and a peaceful mind.

Shannon Hennerfeind

Shannon began practicing yoga nearly 20 years ago. After several stops and starts, she found her way back to yoga for good after a high-risk twin pregnancy. After devoting her energy to her family she recognized the need for self-care. She realized that a daily yoga practice allowed her become a more balanced and complete individual. What started as a way to get fit became a way of life.

On the urging from one of her own teachers to expand her practice further, Shannon completed her RYT 200 certification in 2016. Shannon draws influence from many different styles of yoga, from Ashtanga to Yin, but believes that attention to breath is the tie that binds all yoga styles. From the breath, she feels that each student can happily and healthfully reach his or her potential, on the mat and off. She enjoys weaving the stories of traditional yogic philosophy with relatable, current themes. It's Shannon's goal to give each student a taste of the clarity that yoga has brought to her.

In this class you will learn how to incorporate meditation into your practice. Slow flow movement will prepare your body and mind for stillness. It is especially beneficial if you find it difficult to develop a meditation practice in your home life or on your own. This class includes a vinyasa flow, silent meditation and savasana. Room temperature is set at 75 degrees.
