Rachel Hoying

Rachel became a certified Barre instructor in the winter of 2016. Moving back to central Ohio 2014, she had tried many different ways to try to stay in shape, and eventually found PAI. She loved PAI from her first visit for the feeling of community and the variety of classes offered. She decided to try barre, and, by her first class, she was hooked. As an athlete for most of her life, including cheering at the University of Dayton, she loved the challenge that the barre method presented, as well as the focus on great music to fuel the workout.
 
Rachel attended the University of Dayton for undergrad and went to the University of Findlay to obtain her Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies. As a PA, she sees the impact that exercise and fitness have on all aspects of health and wellness.
 
In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, attending sporting events, and spending time with her family.

Taylor Lechner

Taylor is a certified Spinning®and Les Mills BODYPUMP instructor. For her full-time job, she is a Registered Dietitian who works with individuals who struggle with eating disorders. Originally from Indiana, she graduated with a degree in dietetics with dual minors in psychology and organizational leadership and supervision. She then moved to Ohio where she completed her dietetic internship and master’s degree at Bowling Green State University. She enjoys instructing high intensity workouts and uses upbeat music to guide her workout choreography. You’ll never hear the same song twice in her classes! In addition to working out, she enjoys anything related to food including trying out new restaurants and cooking. A recent transplant to Columbus, she also enjoys exploring the city’s metro parks and unique neighborhoods in her spare time.

Erin Reed

My fitness journey began shortly after high school when I started doing workout videos, such as step aerobics and kickboxing, in my basement. Eventually, I began running and loved it. In 2013, an injury forced me to take a break and really focus on cross training while I healed. In a short time, I became a Star Level 2 Mad Dogg certified spinning instructor, ACE personal trainer, and BodyPump and CXWORX certified as well. I have a passion for fitness and love to share it with people! When not teaching, I spend time with my family, usually at one of our sporting events!

Adrienne Eckels

Adrienne decided to became a Certified Mad Dogg Spin instructor in 2013 after being a cycling student for almost 4 years.  Adrienne fell in love with the combination of speed, endurance and strength cycling classes offered and wanted to share her passion for the sport with others.

Her main goal during every session is to motivate her students to step outside their "comfort zone" to discover their true athletic potential. The best part about being an instructor is seeing her clients fulfill their health goals.

Adrienne was born and raised in Ohio. Where her love of athletics started at a very young age. She earned her varsity letter at Pickerington High school in basketball and track. She went on to run track on a collegian level at Ashland University, finishing her bachelors degree at The Ohio State University in 2002 (Go Bucks). Currently, when Adrienne is not motivating her spin students, she is spending lots of time with family and friends.

Hunny Adams

Hunny has been teaching group fitness since 2001. She holds certifications from Madd Dogg Athletics as a STAR 3 Spinning instructor, AFFA Group Fitness and Kickboxing, Les Mills Body Pump and CX Works, Power Pilates, Polestar Pilates for Rehabilitation, Zumba, and TRX.

Hunny graduated from the University of Arizona in Communications and Marketing. Wanting to be more involved in active lifestyles, Hunny went on to earn her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from The Ohio State University.

When not in the clinic or studio, Hunny is spending time with family and pets, at continuing education courses, or on the water boating.

Mandy Plumadore

Mandy took her first Les Mills class three years ago after taking Zumba consistently for five years. The music and coaching is what motivated her to become an instructor. In September 2017, she took the Les Mills Sprint training, and was instantly hooked. Two weeks later she took the Bodycombat training, and to complete her goals, she took the Bodypump training June of 2018. Mandy believes you should never stop learning. In her free time you can find her learning new choreo, or enjoying the outdoors with her husband and puppy.

Jennifer Van Hoose

Jen tried her first BodyPump class in February 2007, and was a fast fan.
She found it easy to follow, inclusive & non-intimidating.
She enjoyed the motivating music & the team atmosphere, and looked forward to returning to class. 6 months later, she had lost 30 lbs & was feeling so much more energy in her daily life. In 2009, Jen became a group fitness instructor after training in her favorite Les Mills format, BodyCombat. She wanted to encourage & inspire others in their fitness & wellness journey, through her passion for this program. In 2014, Jen finally became BodyPump certified. She’s also ACE Group Fitness certified & has trained in various other formats.
Jen believes fitness is for everyone, and is meant to be a fun celebration & appreciation of our body, mind & spirit.
Jen is a yoga enthusiast & enjoys outdoor activities like hiking, stand up paddle boarding & obstacle course racing.
Jen’s most cherished part of her group fitness journey, are the friendships she has made along the way.

Michele Klem

Originally born in California and raised in England as a military child; Michele has been involved in fitness her entire life spanning everything from dance as a little girl to wakesurfing to running half marathons and balancing it all out with yoga classes. “Anything that is fun, peaks my interest, and keeps me active is a passion of mine.” She was introduced to spin in college, but really feel in love with it during her first year of riding in Pelotonia. A couple years later Michele became a Madd Dogg certified spinning instructor in October 2015 and returned to my favorite yoga studio to teach. She is excited to share her passion for spin and help people grow their fitness goals through the amazing cardio and strength benefits that spin offers.

 

Michele is currently a commercial real estate evaluator for Huntington Bank. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Hearing, Speech, Language from Ohio University in 2006. When she is not working she enjoys simple nights of hosting food and game nights with her friends. She also loves traveling with her husband where they experience new scuba dives on each trip. “It’s so beautiful to be able to experience the calmness and wonders of the ocean that is not visible from the shore.”
