Alexandra’s yoga practice began in Montreal when she attended hot yoga classes to keep warm in the frigid Montreal winters. She graduated from McGill University with a degree in Environment and Development and recently moved to Columbus to complete medical school. Alexandra received her 200hr RYT from It’s Yoga in Cincinnati in 2009. Her classes will expand your practice with sequences based on the 1st, 2nd & 3rd Ashtanga Series including standing and arm balances. She focuses on strengthening the core by cultivating energy locks to store prana and establish a firm foundation of foot, body, hand and eye alignment.
Her class will push you to advance your practice by harnessing your energy while purifying your nervous system and increase endurance, strength and flexibility. Alexandra encourages students to push themselves to a new edge, exploring their potential and allowing them soar to higher levels of fitness and endurance.
