Beth decided to become a Certified Mad Dogg Spinning Instructor in 2018 after being a cycling student at PAI for almost 3 years. Beth first found spinning after a foot injury prevented her from running, which she had been doing for 25 years. Beth was hooked after her first class at PAI! Spinning offered the combination of speed and endurance along with the same “high” she got from running. Although she is new to the teaching side of fitness, she is no stranger to fitness itself. Beth has been involved in sports or group fitness her entire life as both of her parents were P.E. teachers and coaches and instilled the love of fitness in her and her sister from an early age. Beth obtained her bachelors of science in child development from California State University, Fullerton and then earned her masters degree in education from The Ohio State University. When Beth is not teaching spinning at PAI, you can find her in another type of classroom- a kindergarten classroom! Beth has been teaching kindergarten since graduating from college and moving to Ohio in 1995. Her other love is her family- her husband of 24 years and 3 teenage boys who she loves to be outside with when the Ohio weather allows it! Beth looks forward to meeting you and hopefully helping you love spinning and the PAI family as much as she does!

Remember to bring your mat for this spin class! An intense 45-minute cardio bike workout (easily modified for all levels) will have you ready to lay on the mat and switch gears. The remaining 15 minutes of class will focus on strengthening and toning the core, specifically abdominals, obliques, and lower back muscles.
