Aaron is a former Marine whose drive for fitness and discipline mixed with a focus on peace makes him a natural addition to the PAI yoga team. He is ignited and deeply driven to help people live healthy and fufilling lives through the practices of mindfulness and yoga. He currently studies psychology and exercise physiology with a goal to bring more peace to the world one breath at a time.
Aaron expectantly fell in love with yoga while using p90x to take his fitness routine to the next level. It was there that he discovered the benefits of a regular yoga practice. Aaron has been practicing yoga since 2009 and is committed to sharing the benefits of yoga with everyone he encounters.
Amanda Smith is a certified cycling instructor, ACE certified Group Exercise instructor, ACE certified Health Coach, barre certified instructor, certified Pilates instructor and licensed physical therapist. She is originally from Oklahoma. And while she is a true-blooded Sooner fan, she loves routing for the Buckeyes (as long as they are not playing the Sooners). Her goal is to make everyone feel "better than when they walked in".

Amanda started teaching at the age of 18 when the Reebok step aerobics workout was introduced and thong leotards were the "go-to" for all exercise instructors. She has seen the evolution of exercise over her 25 years of experience. And has grown over the years to become a fun, well-rounded instructor with many "tools" in her "tool box" to offer anyone who walks into her classes.

Amanda enjoys fun, fast paced music with energizing intervals in both her cycling and barre classes. One of her favorite parts about teaching ANY class is making all the participants feel better than when they walked in. When you walk into her class, she will "Welcome You to the Best Hour of Your Day!" and do every thing in her power to MEAN IT!

When not teaching, Amanda is kept busy running her own specialized Pilates business. She is also busy running her 3 girls around to ballet, soccer, piano and tennis. She does find the time to hike and go out with her loving husband, Kevin!

As a little girl Amy was fascinated with the twisty shapes she could make with her body. Her favorite was to bind her feet behind her head and balance on her palms; a 6 year olds interpretation of Dwi Pada Sirasana? Finding her first yoga at home in 1990, she practiced with every yoga and Pilates video she could find. Spending the next decade drawn to the physical practice of power vinyasa yoga. There was always a sense there was more than the asana practice, something was missing. She began exploring the focus and breath work involved in making those shapes, dropping in at various studios, and discovered a lifestyle. A way of thinking, living, and treating others. Her “ah ha” moment in 2010 was the realization that this lifestyle should be available to everybody and she wanted to share it. Earning her 200 hour designation from Yoga on High and becoming a Yoga Alliance certified instructor.

Her humorous teaching style is based on love, acceptance and practicing gratitude for the abundance of both. She hopes to inspire her students to consider these principles, develop their own unique practice and work to take all the offerings of yoga off the mat. She believes this begins by looking up and smiling at everyone you pass by in this journey of life.

Anne’s yoga practice began in college and has been an integral part of her life ever since. She completed her 200-hour certification at Back Bay Yoga in Boston with Ame Wren and David Regelin. Her practice has taken many different forms over the years, but has always been a platform for personal growth and well-being. When she’s not teaching yoga, Anne is working to obtain her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at OSU.
Through proper alignment and thoughtful sequencing, Anne’s classes provide a framework and give students the tools to personalize their yoga practice according to the individual needs of their bodies at any given moment. By connecting breath and movement, students learn to tune in and relate to their bodies in a different way. Whether she’s teaching an invigorating power flow or restorative slow flow, she strives to create space for students to look inward with a sense of curiosity, compassion, and light-heartedness.
Bethany began teaching group exercise classes and became certified with AFAA back in 1998 while living in Chicago. At the time she was pursuing a career in advertising and public relations but grew to discover that her passion for exercise could be taken to another level by motivating and encouraging others. She became a certified Spinning Instructor through Johnny G/ Mad Dogg Athletics and has been teaching for over 13 years. Also, a level 2 certified TRX instructor, Bethany teaches Spinning/TRX classes which has become one of her favorite workouts. “It’s a perfect combination of high intensity cardio, challenging core and strength training bundled into one fast placed class.”
Aside from teaching at PAI, Bethany is the proud mom of four children. “I try to lead by example for my kids. I want them to grow to understand how much exercise improves your quality of life physically and mentally."
Bethany is a graduate of The Ohio State University with a bachelor’s degree in Marketing.
Carrie is a teacher focused on total wellness of the body, mind and spirit. Her classes use accessible skeletal alignment and thoughtful sequencing to make flexibility and muscle tone inevitable side effects of a satisfying practice.

Carrie’s athletic background in gymnastics and OSU cheerleading taught her that strong, flexible muscles prevent injury, balancing the body balances and quiets the mind and whole nutrition maintains all systems and builds complete health.

She was certified in Vinyasa and Thai yoga massage after completing an immersion training in Costa Rica and hopes to lead a retreat there someday. With an inexhaustible passion for travel, world cultures and adventure, Carrie has explored and served in many countries in the Americas, Europe and Asia.

She loves partner yoga, personal exploration, enjoying the beauty of nature and connecting with family and friends. Her enthusiastic and caring spirit will help you look forward to the time you spend caring for yourself to make it an easy and pleasant part of your life.

Born and raised in Bangkok, Thailand, Chan Hemintranont moved to the U.S. in 2001 to study for her MBA at Case Western Reserve University. In 2010, Chan called on her background in finance and accounting to found the PAI Yoga and Fitness studio. Her goal in opening the studio was to share her enthusiasm for active pursuits and to be part of people’s life journey.
Her approach to Vinyasa flow is creative and rejuvenating. The intention of each class, through breathing technique, is to help students find calmness in their minds, to strengthen the body-mind-soul connection, and to experience a new sense of being, of completeness. Above all, Chan loves having fun during class--and even making people giggle! "If you can laugh in a yoga class," she says, "you are an advanced student."
For Chan, the most fulfilling aspect of opening the studio has been witnessing and nurturing positive changes in PAI’s members. Seeing the physical and mental growth of so many aspiring yoga lovers and athletes has further deepened her commitment to sharing her passion with others. Chan feels both grateful and honored to be able to serve in this way.
Courtney Simmons is a certified Personal Trainer/Group Fitness Instructor and Pilates Teacher. When she was introduced to TRX, she became instantly addicted. TRX is a powerful tool that engages every muscle group, all while building a strong core. Courtney continues to see improvement in strength and body toning through various high and low intense TRX workouts.
She has always had a passion for health and fitness. Her more recent interest has been in nutrition and organic gardening. Courtney’s goals are to keep her students challenged and encouraged at all times. Her classes are high energy and goal driven. Outburst of singing is always encouraged! If you are ready to take your workout to the next level, meet Courtney in the gym!
Erika Husney is a certified TRX instructor who fell in love with the workout after her first class at PAI. As a former competitive gymnast and current marathon runner, she found TRX to be a great balance of resistance training and cardio. Erika has coached gymnastics in the past, and now volunteers for Girls on the Run Franklin County; a program dedicated to inspiring girls to be joyful, healthy and confident through a fun curriculum that integrates exercise and running. She is excited to continue sharing her passion with others through TRX training.

Graduating from Ohio University with a degree in Marketing and Communications, she now works full-time in Human Resources. Her interests have always included fitness, wellness and nutrition, which led her to pursue additional education in Holistic Health Coaching. Erika’s dream is to share her knowledge of fitness and holistic nutrition with her future clients to contribute to a world of happy, healthy lifestyles.

“The body achieves what the mind believes."
Erin was acting on a hunch when she first walked into a yoga studio in 2003. A profound need for some fun and a vague curiosity motivated those first visits. Yoga slowly cast a spell over her, and soon it was as if someone was turning up the contrast knob on life. She is truly changed and eager to continue the transformation with fellow barefoot seekers of truth.

Erin has an eye for connections and a knack for clear communication. She teaches in a way that is equal parts precise alignment and flowing movement. Her classes have been called "sneaky-tough", but since she speaks heart-to-heart, the tough feels like love. Students leave class feeling rinsed clean and inspired to live big. Erin completed her first teacher training in 2007. She's been leading classes ever since and growing her own particular way of transmitting yoga's wisdom. She has enjoyed more than 400 hours of training with Sianna Sherman. Hareesh Wallis, Noah Maze, and Darren Rhodes are also among her teachers and influences.

As a girl Erin wanted to be Pegasus and fly like lightning. For now she's happy being a yoga teacher, leading kindred spirits on flights toward freedom in our bodies and hearts.

Jamie Scott grew up in Livonia, MI where she found her love and passion for dance. She was a competitive dancer from the age of 5-18 and became a dance teacher while she attended school at Western Michigan University. After graduating with her BBA in Marketing, Jamie moved to North Carolina where she started her professional career in Sales.

In 2014 Jamie was ready to move closer to home, bringing her to Columbus and PAI! She completed her training for Barre-OM early in 2015, eager to start teaching and sharing her passion for music and fitness with her clients.

As a member of the Junior League of Columbus, Jamie spends a lot of time volunteering and training in the community. She also enjoys spending time with family, traveling, shopping and yoga.
Jennie became a certified barre-OM instructor in the summer of 2015. As a former marathon runner, Jennie immediately loved the intensity and effectiveness of the barre-OM workout, which fuses traditional barre moves with yoga and pilates inspired sequences. Jennie loves sharing barre with clients and encourages everyone to try a barre workout, as the barre-OM instructors offer many modifications and ensure classes are accessible to all fitness levels. She strives to help clients feel empowered and inspired after every workout.

When not in the studio, you can find Jennie at home with her two boys. She is originally from the suburbs of Chicago and has a Bachelor’s degree from University of Illinois and a Master’s in College Student Personnel from Miami University. Prior to staying at home with her children, Jennie had a career in academic advising and career coaching with positions at the University of Michigan and Ohio State University.

Jenny Rodrick is a certified Spinning and TRX instructor (Levels 1 and 2) as well as an ACSM Certified Clinical Exercise Specialist. She has been teaching group fitness classes since 2006, including Spinning, TRX, core, and boot-camp style classes. She received her Bachelors degree in Education and Allied Professions with a major in Exercise Science from the University of Dayton and was an NCAA Division I athlete in cross country during her four years there.
Jenny also has her Master's degree in Sports and Exercise Science from The Ohio State University. Full-time, she is a Clinical Exercise Physiologist with a local health care system, where she does fitness testing and training with various central Ohio fire and police departments.
When not helping others, Jenny loves traveling, running, sporting events, and spending time with family and friends. Jenny has run several marathons, including the Boston Marathon, and is always training for her next race. Her ultimate goal is to run every major marathon in the world, including Boston, Chicago, New York, London, and Berlin.
Jessica is a certified Barre-OM fitness instructor. She wanted to be certified specifically in the Barre-OM method because of how this method focuses on empowering the client and how it quickly changes client’s muscle memory and shape of the body. She has been taking the classes for the past 2 years and decided very quickly that she wanted to be a part of the exciting Barre-OM instructor team. Her high energy during classes’ allow the Barre-OM clients to be challenged, motivated and empowered.
Jessica grew up in Colerain, Ohio and graduated from Ohio University. She lives in Westerville with her young family. She loves to eat good food, drink great wine and loves to live in the present moment. Traveling is a must and exposing her boys to the world is a huge goal of hers.
Jordan's love of moving began at the age of three in ballet class. She discovered that nothing brought her more joy or made her feel more genuine than expressing herself through movement. This passion continued into adulthood as she received a B.A. in Theatre & Dance as well as English Literature from Wittenberg University in 2009. She then moved to Los Angeles where she performed and worked as a professional actor/dancer and dance instructor for over six years.
During her time on the west coast, Jordan experienced her first yoga class and was immediately hooked. Just as dance had spoken to her in her youth, yoga was speaking the language of her adulthood. She found that yoga was a meditation on movement and an ever-expanding exploration of self. This was a journey she wanted to take. Jordan was blessed to receive stellar tutelage from instructors Stephen Ewashkiw, Tony Giuliano, and Noah Maze (whom she completed her 200-hr teacher training under.)
She knows, yoga is hard, and so is life. But when yoga class is fun and you spend time laughing, learning, and breathing together, then all the benefits -- a good work out, stress relief, dedication and focus -- all come a lot more easily. She says, "When my students leave the classroom with a smile on their face and sweat dripping down their temples then I know I have done my job and I am so happy to be doing it."
